While this isn't a 'Flip Phone' I think this is one of the best phones for the money. Its almost the exact same size and shape as the Nokia's, but while Nokia Analog phones are great, their Digital Phones just aren't as good as this one. It has a good battery life between recharges, very clear sound when you talk, and 15 different rings. Most cell phones it is difficult to determine what the song playing is. This phone has about 10 instantly recognizable melodies from the Fur Elise to Happy Birthday.
It can receive text or voice mail messages. It also has 99x2 storage places for phone numbers. Each person in your address book can have 2 telephone numbers associated with them, and it is limited to 99 names. Of course it has Caller ID, and you can instantly add any caller to your address book. It switches automatically to Analog mode if you leave the digital area, or you can force it to Analog mode to use a TelMail e-mailer, or hook it up to devices through its Qualcomm standard port. It also has a standard head piece socket so that you can wear a headset and microphone and be hands free.
The display area is very large, that was my selling point. It shows really neat graphics when it recharges, or when you receive v-mail. It is definitely the cell phone for people that love cute and fun features in addition to quality manufacturing. Unfortunately it doesn't have a vibrate function for ringing, but you can adjust the volume really low so that it is non-obtrusive, and when its set for one of the songs, rather than a ring, its not very loud at all. (And if you can't talk at the time you are getting called, you can send them to voicemail with the touch of a button).
