Pros: Very cheap! Super easy to install and use. Very loud.
Cons: More expensive units have more features.
The Bottom Line: Great little car alarm. Others have more features but this is easy to install and use. And, it is cheap!

I wanted to get a car alarm for my car and didn't want to spend much money. And I didn't want to waste a bunch of time installing it. Audiovox to the rescue! This unit took me all of 10 minutes to install, and 5 of that was just looking for a proper place to put it.
It worked right out of the box. I did have to cut one wire loop (It's how you program the unit for certain things) because my interior lights don't turn off right away when you exit the vehicle. So, by cutting this one wire loop it will delay voltage sensing for 5 minutes and thus not set off the alarm prematurely.
1. It will set off the alarm if it hears a loud noise.
2. It will set off the alarm if it senses a voltage change on your battery (like interior lights going on/off or other things).
3. Turns on/off by remote.
4. You can program the level of sensitivity.
5. When you turn it off it will usually chirp twice, but if the alarm has gone off it chirps four times.
This unit has lots of great features! It has a very loud alarm also. I recommend this alarm if your as cheap as me. I do plan on buying a more expensive unit to install on my Car and will put this one on my truck, eventually. My next alarm will have a pager so I know when it is going off.
But for now it is a great little helper and makes me feel much better about leaving my car somewhere. Got it for $22 including shipping on E-bay.
