| murkydreamer's Full Review: Aussie Mega Instant Conditioner |
A long, long time ago (ok, maybe a year or two) in a far off place (my bathroom), there was a woman whose hair was extremely picky about conditioners. She washed her hair every day, so she needed a conditioner that would do the job without weighing her hair down. She journeyed many miles (aka trips to Target) on the search for the perfect conditioner, but always came up empty-handed. Until the day she discovered Aussie Mega Instant Conditioner...
^^^What's inside the bottle?^^^
A conditioner with a nice creamy texture and an absolutely delightful smell. It contains a variety of extracts (I think I counted 7 in total). This is your better-than-basic everyday conditioner for "normal" hair that doesn't require a lot of moisture or clarifying. The scent lasts in my hair and I've definitely gotten compliments on it.
^^^Ok, how about the bottle itself?^^^
The one I have is a beige color, although apparently they're changing to purple. The bottle holds its shape well, unlike some other shampoo bottles (ahem, Suave) that tend to "collapse" on me. Those cute hopping kangaroos are a plus, but now I digress...
^^^How do I use this stuff?^^^
Put it on & rinse it out. It's simple. Just make sure you rinse it out well. Aussie recommends that you use it with its Mega Shampoo, however I use it with its Moist Shampoo which I actually like better.
^^^Who's it for?^^^
This shampoo promises "everyday conditioning for normal hair" that "rinses away clean so there's no build-up." I have long straight hair which can look flat if I use the wrong kind of conditioner. Luckily, this one doesn't weigh my hair down yet manages to make it shiny, bouncy, and just generally look like it's in good shape.
^^^Where can I find it?^^^
Your local drugstore. I believe I bought mine at Target at 2 for $4 for a 16floz/473ml size.
^^^My take on it^^^
I find that while I can use any 'ol shampoo, the conditioner I pick makes a big difference in how my hair looks and feels. This is one of the few conditioners that I've repurchased because I love that the shine and bounce my hair gets as a result...all without the yucky residue! Give this product a second look next time you're out shopping for a new conditioner.
