I'm going to purchase this book!! I have a friend who has Asperger's Syndrome and her 8 year old daughter is autistic. As a friend, I think I might benefit from this book. Thank you!!

It has been suggested to us that our son may or may not have a touch of Asperger's Syndrome. I think we may have looked through this book briefly. We're waiting to hear what his kindergarten teacher says at conferences before we do any testing.

Thanks for the great review! We are lucky to have you at Epinions.

Our community and those outside it are very lucky we have a writer like you that gives very important information on Autism.

I know its really needed, so many people have no idea what it is or how to handle it when it becomes part of their life.

Thank you for be so helpful to our site and those who read here!

This was an outstanding description of a book to send to a friend whose child was just diagnosed.
She's bewildered, and I think that this book will help calm some of the anxieties and get her going on the right track. It might have been difficult to find this, had you not written such a thorough, comprehensive and complete review!

Glad your still working on your own book. By reading books like this will only help you with your own. It gives you an idea of what else to include in yours. Studying other books on your subject is very helpful.

I am cleaning out my books and have some on how to get published, Author's Toolkit, writing for children and others that I will send to you. Good Luck on the book.

I sure wish that I had this book years ago when my little cousin was born and exhibited behaviors that my family just didn't understand. He was finally diagnosed as autistic. We still didn't know exactly what was involved. It was so frustrating for him not being understood by all of us. It was very frustrating for his parents, as well.

That was some twenty years ago and now he is doing very well.

Thanks again for this important book review.
