Bad parts availability, no repair service.

Because my gas range is out of warranty, Avanti's telephone representative would not provide me with the name of a repair service company even though I am fully prepared to pay for said service.
Recommend this product?
One service company said they didn't work on them because they are hard to get parts for. Calling Avanti's 800 number I was told an igniter (common replacement part) was on 30-45 day back order.
