More details?? Ok....Whenever I use a breast pump, it hurts my nipples, especially if I haven't shaven them. LOL (ducking) (runnning away)

I breastfeed and eventually pumped after about six weeks. I was afraid of this pump just because of what it did. I have to say it was painless and worked great. I did wonder though if all pumps took as long as this one. Good to know that there are other pumps that are more effiecent. I just couldn't afford to buy another at the time. Next time around I will try the Pump In Style.

I came upon your review after you updated- so I didn't see the original- but what you've got here is a good solid review.
I've only been on epinions for a short while, but I'll give you a hint or two that I've noticed since I've been here. The layout of your review seems to be what can put you over the top from helpful to very helpful. A clear bulleted list of pros and cons or features is always nice. Use of bold and italics also helps to emphasize certain points you wish to make.
There's no "formula" for a good review, but your opinion supported by details and solid facts presented in an easily readable format will be awarded very helpful ratings every time.
I look forward to more reviews from you. :)

I admire any woman who can exclusively pump breastmilk for their babies!! I did it for a few months with my own trusty Medela Pump In Style when my son was teething, so I know just how difficult this can be.
Only I tried the Avent Isis too but I just could not get it to work for me. Glad you had better luck :-)
About my Somewhat Helpful rating though: adding as many product details about this manual pump itself will make this review more helpful to consumers as they research a potential purchase.
For example: How does it work? Are the parts dishwasher safe? Is it easy to assemble? What type of "pumper" would you recommend this choice for? Etc.....

Compared to the eletric pump how long did it take you to pump
Was it a one handed operation
How was it to put together the first time?
