Pros: comfortable, handy for travel, light, small, good price
Cons: tiny pieces, messy, breaks easily
The Bottom Line: I would avoid this product until some of the manufacturing glitches are sorted out. Too many small pieces make it easy to break and difficult to wash.

| Maja's Full Review: Avent Isis Breast Pump With Reusable Bottle |
This product is sold at a great price (I believe it sells for around 25 or $30), but it has some fundamental flaws.
I love the Avent bottles and product line, but this product does not reflect the manufacture quality of the other products. The pump has excellent suction, but is easily broken. I broke mine and switched to an electric pump. My friend broke hers twice. The plastic is easily broken if the handle is pushed down too hard. It is made of durable plastic, but is put together in such a way that the pump is small and delicate. It is supposed to be handy for travel and handling. Great idea, but not if its broken!
The plastic parts are numerous and a burden when washing and trying to put the pump together. There are little pieces to take apart and put together that can easily come apart and fall down the sink. Also, the rubber stopper (which they provide two of) wears easily and is TINY. This is the most important piece and it is about the size of a dime.
The suction padding that is placed on the pump which comes in contact with the breast is very comfortable and helps the let down of milk come more quickly and more easily. All in all, a good idea, but the various parts also make the pump difficult to put together and it sometimes leaks milk or gets milk stuck in the little parts. I never knew if my pump was actually sterile!
