Clean Planes, On Time Departures, and Great Fares to Destinations in Mexico...
I stumbled across Aviacsa, when I was looking for a flight to Monterrey, MX. After getting sticker shock from Continental and American, I decided to look deeper into finding all of the airlines and their fares to Monterrey.
My online search yielded results from Aeromexico, Mexicana and some company called Aviacsa. As I looked at the results of my search, I saw a big differences in fares. I found that Aviacsa was at least 175 dollars lower than the best fare on all of the others. After seeing this substanstial difference in these fares, I located the reservation number and booked my flight over the telephone.
My "first impressions" of Aviacsa, started at their airport ticket counter at MIA. I found their people all professionals, were helpful, very friendly and they answered all of my questions. As I stood at the counter, waiting for my bags to be processed, I was told all of about Aviacsa, of its beginning and was impressed as they referred to it as "their company"!
Arriving at the door of the plane, I was greeted by two flight attendants, who confirmed my seat location, I sat down and took notice of the plane. I was impressed by its the cleanliness, but even more impressed when the plane pushed away from the gate, and it was leaving on time! WOW, what a concept this was, sell a airline ticket and really for your destination and ON TIME!!!
So I arrived to my destination on time and my luggage, actually arrived with me, and my return to Miami was as pleasant, uneventful as anyone could ask for.
Their Frequent Flyer program is quite impressive, and it's called AviacPass. It is simple to participate in and you can get a free ticket after only five (5) completed round trip travels to a city that you would frequently travel to. So make sure that you save all of your used boarding passes and your itinerary & reservation confirmations.
Finally, you need to mark on your calendars to call Aviacsa on every Tuesday...this Tuesday, next Tuesday and the Tuesdays of the future! This is their Weekly Sales Day, and the discounts can be from good to very substantial.
By calling on a Tuesday Sale in August 2005, I saved almost $200.00 per ticket. With this kind of savings off the normal fare to my destination, I bought three tickets for the price that I would usually pay for two!!
The discounts are not always the same, but there is always substantial enough savings that will get your attention!
I now fly Aviacsa on all of my round trips to Mexico, I travel almost almost monthly, and I try use them whenever I can fly them within the country. I cannot say enough good things or give enough praise about this company, as my experiences with them are my reasons to write this review.
Thank you for taking time to read my review, and to all of employees of Aviacsa, for a great job. I give an extra special Thank You to the Aviacsa people in Miami!
