Pros: relatively inexpensive exfoliator that left my skin refreshed and clear
Cons: results weren't so spectacular that I would go out of my way to buy this
This product is billed as the at-home alternative to chemical peels and also as an "advanced exfoliator" with "soothing botanicals". Avon is careful to note that the results won't be equivalent to surgical procedures.
This new version consists of one container with 30 textured pads (about the same size and texture as the acne pads, if you remember those). There was an older version that was a 2 step process, with 2 separate containers of textured pads - now there's just the one step.
You are supposed to use the product every other day, so this is a 2 month supply. It's a very simple product to use - just cleanse your skin, then swipe this product over your face and follow with your regular moisturizer.
I found that the product left my skin feeling refreshed and clean. It definitely was a better exfoliator than the apricot scrub type products that I've tried. I have semi-sensitive skin, and I did not experience any irritation, but be cautious the first time you use it, just like with any new skin care product.
Avon lists the price at $25. For a 2 month supply, that's a good price, and I think it's fair for the results I got. I don't know that I would seek this product out again, which is one of the downfalls of Avon products - it takes some effort to buy them, so it's something of a barrier (no impulse purchasing!).
