I just recently purchased by first tube of Avon Daring Definition Mousse Mascara from my friend 2 weeks ago. The only reason I tried I just recently purchased by first tube of Avon Daring Definition Mousse Mascara was because it came in a kit. Also I do need a new mascara so it was a good deal.
Avon Daring Definition Mousse Mascara comes in a slim dark black tube that gets fatter on the top, and pretty slim towards the end. Its good I take it wherever I go. There is .26 oz of product. The mascara brush that comes with it is a four inch wand with about an inch of brush at the end.
Avon says this about it's Daring Definition Mousse Mascara
"New Look!
Frame eyes with the darkest, defined lush lashes ever. Created with aerospace technology in a light-as-air mousse, it coats every lash, fanning them so they beautifully define"
Avon Daring Definition Mousse Mascara has a very light color to it I bought black, but since it says it is a mousse the color is very light. Sometimes I put 3 coats on to get my desired shade of mascara. I like a really dark mascara, and If I have to put so many coats on I might as well just buy a different mascara. There are other colors that they have in this line. I don't like this product enough to go buy one of each colors. While writing this review I put some mascara on my hand just to see the texture, etc, and one it had dried it was pretty hard to get of my hand, showing that this mascara once it is dry will stay. It's got really good lasting power. I will discuss this in detail later on in the review.
After applying like 3 layers of Avon Daring Definition Mousse Mascara it takes 2 or 3 minutes to dry. So if i'm running late I have to coat my lashes 3 times, and wait for it to dry. If i'm running really late I just walk out the door, and look in the mirror, and see I have all these mascara dots under my eyes.
Avon Daring Definition Mousse Mascara comes in four colors in which I will write below.
Black
Brown
Brown Black
Navy
Avon Daring Definition Mousse Mascara is very easly to apply. The brush is about a half inch, but I put the mascara on my lashes in sections. I start with half, and then do the other half. I never do the whole lashes at one time.
Avon Daring Definition Mousse Mascara has very decent wearing power. I put it on every morning when I go to work, and midday sometimes I may just have a tad under my eyes, but most likely no. Some mascaras I buy end up staying under my eyes rather then on my lashes. This mascara is good because it's not waterproof but it has a very good staying power. It washes right off without any makeup remover at the end of the day.
In conclusion Avon Daring Definition Mousse Mascara takes more coats to use. Is is not too much of what I think a mousse mascara would be, But for a non water proof mascara it does have better staying power, and does not end up under my eyes instead of on my eye lashes. I also really like the brush that comes with it. So I might buy this again if I can get a really good deal on it because sometimes Avon you can get really good deals on their products. Avon Daring Definition Mousse Mascara retails for about 7.99 but sometimes you can get some good two for one deals, and you can buy it for 2.99.
