Cake Frosting for your lips?

I purchased Avon's Hydra Finish Lip color about a month ago. I am a person who uses neutral colors, and they had a nice shade of brown, (it's called Twig actually) that I though I might like, so I made the purchase.
I'm the kind of person who gets really excited when I get anything new, so as soon as I received my order, I wiped off any lipstick I had on, and tried on my new shade. My first though, was, "this feels like cake frosting!". It was very thick, and actually felt like peaks formed on my lips when I went to talk! I realized I hadn't blotted, so I removed the lipstick, put it on again, and blotted. The feeling was not much better. It felt very thick, even after blotting. Every times I talked, I felt like I had to lick my teeth, for fear of them being covered by this lipstick. I will give it credit...it stayed on FOREVER! And it helped keep my normally very chapped lips soft and smooth. I just can't get over the thick feeling.
All in all, I'd say this lipstick does what it says. It has great lasting power, and gave me a kissable kisser. If I can get use to the cake frosting feeling, this will be a pretty good lipstick. I would recommend it to others, with the warning to blot it like a mad mad before attempting to have a conversation with someone. Otherwise, it will drive you crazy!
