Good Eye Cream...Even For A Man

Pros: smell is nice, really helps with puffy eyes, moisturizes
Cons: may not work as well as advertised
The Bottom Line: This Eye Treatment did a good job on circles under my eyes, and did a little bit to help wrinkles. Definitely worth trying.

Yes, I am a man who has used the Avon Hydrofirming Eye Treatment. My Mother-in-law sells Avon, so I have ready access to all their products. Well, I am getting to the age where I have begun to notice the "laugh lines" around my eyes. At the same time, I have also become more conscious of the bags around my eyes (from late nights on the Internet, I am sure!). After a little encouragement from my wife, I agreed to try the Hydrofirming cream...reluctantly.
The first thing that I noticed was that the cream went on smoothly. It gave my skin an immediate cooling sensation, as if the moisturizers were making an immediate impact on my tired eyes. Avon declares that the moisture level of your skin increases 125% upon application. I will not dispute that, as I could literally feel the difference. At the same time, the cream has a light, sweet scent that is like the smell of a waterfall in a spring field; this is a nice fragrence for bedtime.
For two weeks, I regularly applied the cream around my eyes as I went to bed. It only took three or four days before I could notice the difference in the bags under my eyes. The puffiness and dark circles that had begun to form were improving quickly, and before the two weeks were up they were completely gone. As for the wrinkles around my eyes, they are still there. I will concede that there was a slight improvement, but not nearly as much as you would expect from the advertising. I didn't look much more (or less) youthful than I did before.
Most people realize that there are no "Wonder Creams" that remove wrinkles. This one will certainly not remove those laugh lines, but it will help them a little bit. It will also relieve the puffiness caused by lack of sleep or allergies, giving the eye area some soothing relief. The price is pretty good compared to comparable products. And it is good for both men AND women alike!
