Pros: Great price.
Cons: made my skin break out slightly.
The Bottom Line: It did work on improving the moisture level of my skin, but it caused breakouts. I suggest trying it for that reason, but be careful if you have sensitive skin.

| snflwr's Full Review: Avon Hydrofirming Night Lotion |
One of my favorite skin and makeup companies is Avon and I purchase their products often.
I felt I needed to try something more in a moisturizer (I'm in my late 30's) and Avon's Hydrofirming Night Lotion sounded great. During the winter months my skin becomes extremely dry and I start to notice fine lines appearing.
The first couple of weeks It seemed to work fine. It did seem a bit heavy, leaving a slight shine on the face, but since this is used before bedtime, that shouldn't be a problem. At about 3 weeks though I noticed that I was breaking out a little bit. I cut back on my use of the lotion, using it every other night instead, but the breakouts continued. I stopped using the product for a 2-3 weeks then tried it again. The same thing happened, after 2 weeks or so, I started to break out again. (I don't usually break out).
I was disappointed that I had to stop using the product because I did notice that my face WAS becoming less dry with use.
I didn't notice any firming of the skin, according to Avon, you should feel 25% firmer after 2 weeks.
Avon does have a wonderful return policy, and I had no problem returning the product and trying something else. I suggest trying it only because it did improve the moisture level of my skin, but keep in mind it may cause breakouts.
