About Me: Married mom of one, with another little one on the way!

Best Baby Investment

Written: Jan 14, 2012
Rated a Somewhat Helpful Review by the Epinions community
Pros:Small, Versatile, Lasting.  Provides Healthy Options and Easy to Use and Clean.
Cons:Smaller Sized Basket to Steam.
The Bottom Line:

I would highly recommend this product to any new parent that wants to offer healthy options for your little ones.  This is a tool no mom should go without!

The BEABA Babycook is probably the best investment I purchased for my baby.  This Babycook makes fresh and healthy baby food for your little one.  You directly control what goes into your baby’s mouth and can offer them so many healthy options.
The unit is small, takes up very little room.  It comes with the machine, accessories and a small cookbook.  The cookbook offers only a few recipes however, it provides a web site that you can log into for free and get a ton more recipes.
When you initially start feeding solids to your infant the options for food choices are limited, by having the BEABA Babycook I was able to offer many options from sweet potatoes to pears.  My daughter ended up loving parsnips and rutabagas! Those were never options in a jar.  The best part about it was when you opened up my freezer there was a rainbow of options for her.  I was over at a friends house one day and tried to feed her jar baby food, and she refused to eat it.  I truly think your little ones will know the difference between jar and fresh healthy baby food.
I am a huge advocate for making your own food and for this machine because you can, from start to finish use just this one machine to steam and puree.  Also you can reheat food in it.  It is very easy to use and even easier to clean.  I placed it in the dishwasher for quick clean up.  The only downfall to this is the basket is smaller, so the amount you can make is limited.  Other than that, this is an amazing purchase.  I figured it out that having this machine almost tripled the amount of savings we saved, so it paid for itself very quickly.  I would like to say that my now two year old who gets excited over broccoli and asparagus loves these foods because of the Babycook.
