funny you should ask, I am having the same problem *again* (on the same unit). I haven't called them yet. My opinion is they should fix it for free (since it is obviously a design problem) - we'll see if they agree!

Quick question for you. I'm experiencing the exact same problem with it (speaker problem) but my 985 is more than a year old. Would they charge me to fix it?
