I shave just about every day and with such shaving frequency as this, I need to be careful with my choice of razor. I need a razor that will cut the hair smoothly and cleanly, without irritation. I usually use disposable razors for this purpose and one I have tried and liked is the BIC Flex 4 Disposable Razor, a razor that adjusts to your skin.

Razor Facts and Figures:
The BIC Flex 4 Disposable Razor is a hand- held razor with four blades to produce a close shave with as few strokes as possible. The four blades are flexible and they adjust themselves to the contours of your face as you glide the razor across your skin. The head of the razor pivots up and down and there is a thin protective lubricating strip at the top, to help reduce irritation.
The BIC Flex 4 Disposable Razor offers a large, textured handle to prevent slippage. The handle is thinner in the middle and wider at the bottom, for better gripping. Textured "bumps" exist on the top and sides of the razor, to keep it firmly in your hands while shaving. The razor is sold in packs of three.
I use many different razors from different companies to complete my daily shaving task. I like to switch back and forth between my hand razor and electric razor and I tend to alternate among several different disposable brands. I don't really have any preference- I will try any disposable razor that looks like it will produce a comfortable shave.
BIC makes many different razors, from its useless budget- priced single blade variety to the fancier, more sophisticated styles. I have tried the other, more upscale BIC disposable razors and experienced good success. This, the BIC Flex 4 Disposable Razor, seemed like a razor with a good deal to offer. I obtained a package, tried it out, and have been satisfied overall.
The BIC Flex 4 Disposable Razor offers four flexible blades and this is the razor's primary asset. With this many blades gliding across the skin, there is no worry that your facial hair will escape its swath. The four blades cut effectively and there is no need to stroke multiple times over the same area. Facial hair is cut to skin- level, and your skin feels smooth.
Flexible blades do make a difference with this razor, but one fact that surprised me a little bit is that the head of the razor isn't flexible. I assumed that both the blades and head were flexible, but only the blades themselves offer this feature. The only flexibility you get with the head of the razor is the up and down pivot- a feature common to most disposable razors. The flexible blades seem to be good enough, so I suppose it isn't a big deal. Still, I was expecting flexibility all- around.
One disappointment with the BIC Flex 4 Disposable Razor is with the lubricating strip. This strip contains aloe and vitamin E and it is supposed to help aid in the shaving process by making the experience more comfortable. However, unless I got a bad batch of razors, the lubricating strip on the BIC Flex 4 Disposable Razor isn't very useful. With other disposable razors that include one of these strips, I can easily feel the difference the strip makes because it will leave a slick feeling behind and the razor will glide like a hot knife through butter. I don't get this feeling with the BIC Flex 4 Disposable Razor. The razor still cuts effectively, but I cannot understand why the lubricating strip doesn't make a more noticeable difference.
The BIC Flex 4 Disposable Razor isn't cheap, but its price is in- line with what you expect in a quality disposable razor, which is about $7.50 per package. One thing I have learned with disposable razors is that you get what you pay for. If you don't want your skin cut apart and don't want irritation and bleeding, then you cannot settle for a cheap disposable razor. You have to be willing to spend a little more, and the results will be worth it in the long run.
Overall, the BIC Flex 4 Disposable Razor is a very good disposable razor that offers a close shave with four flexible blades that adjust to the contours of your face for the best shave possible. I don't know how long it will take for a manufacturer to offer a five- bladed disposable razor but until that happens, the four- bladed varieties seem to work just fine and the BIC Flex 4 Disposable Razor is one of the better ones I have tried.
