krishur's Full Review: BOB Trailer Revolution Jogger Stroller
I just bought mine today to replace the Rock Star Baby that my daughter is starting to outgrow (at 23 months, she's TALL but too young for long walks). I spent a lot of time reviewing different strollers and paid for a professional consult (person who recommended my RSB).
Looks great, pushes great. But, like anything, only once you get it home do the "issues" appear.
One thing I noticed once getting it home is the seat back is supported with something that feels like cardboard so her back is not really supported and she sags--she can't sit fully upright. I am worried about the cardboard deforming over time. Regarding the upright issue, I believe one can remedy this with a strap of velcro across the middle of the seat. The seat is wide and should accomodate older/wider children well--as long as they are not too tall--there is a "box top" over the top of the seat that limits the height.
Sunshade is great, it's HUGE. It has a flap on the back that can be folded away to allow for ventilation on hot days.
The fold is super easy and fairly compact but cannot be done with one hand.
The handlebar is fixed so be sure to test it out before buying to make sure it "fits" you and anyone else who will use it.
The footwell on many 3 wheel strollers is very narrow but this one is wide and can easily accomodate. However it must be noted that it is FABRIC and will most likely stain over time.
Which reminds me, I discovered by another Epinions poster and confirmed once I got it home; the fabric is NOT removable and so can't be machine washed--if you plan on using it a lot and/or feeding a your child in it this is important info to know!
I'll get a change to take it for a jog/walk tomorrow and update.
UPDATE 5/21/08
Took it for a jog today, handles really, really well. However for my purposes (need a stroller for a tall child) it does not work as the height of the seatback is capped at 21" by a "box top" like piece. Swirmy, wormy child didn't sit in it properly while I was at the store.
