The Baby Bjorn Potty Chair has sat in the bathroom for months.  We have gradually introduced Toddler Grace to pottying and now that she is starting to pee in the potty rather than just sit on it with her clothes on, we are getting quite a bit of use out of the Baby Bjorn Potty Chair.

The Baby Bjorn Potty Chair comes in a variety of colors and costs about $30.  We have the blue colored potty because it was a hand-me-down from Toddler Grace's cousin.  There is a picture of a bear at the bottom of the potty.  The potty chair is made of two pieces -- the chair itself and the inner potty.  The inner potty sits on top of the potty chair and is removed by simply lifting it up and out.  The design is simple and very functional and convenient.  There is also some red rubber lining on the bottom of the chair that keeps the chair from sliding around in the bathroom.
The Baby Bjorn Potty Chair is fairly lightweight, making it easy to move around, especially for toddlers.  I have found the potty chair in all sorts of odd places, including the kitchen and the living room.

Toddler Grace loves her potty chair.  She has sat on it for quite a few months now, even before we started trying to make peepee in the potty.  She was fascinated by it and would sit on it with her pants on and read a book on it.  The potty has a good base that is wide enough that the potty is very sturdy.  The curved "edges" also add to the comfort of the potty chair.  The height of the potty is perfect for a toddler; it isn't so high that their feet are off the ground and they feel unstable but it isn't so low that it is uncomfortable.

Now that we are into a beginning training phase of potty training, we sit on the potty a few times throughout the day.  Toddler Grace has a quirky way of sitting on the potty -- she likes to back in.  There is a rounded, built in deflector on the inner potty that we don't have a need for but it is a bit bump that she has to go over in order to sit down.  After she pees in the potty, I just take the white inner potty off by lifting it from the potty chair and then I dump it into the toilet.  The design is easy and simple.  I love that there's no complicated steps in order to get the inner potty out of the chair in order to empty the contents.  I rinse the inner potty a few times and then set it back on the potty chair.  Every now and then I will clean the entire potty chair to disinfect it, but the ease of removing the inner potty really helps avoid spillage of pee (and poop).

Overall Thoughts
The Baby Bjorn Potty Chair is a great potty for potty training!
