Pros:Safe, Excellent Quality, adjusts to fit most toilets.
The Bottom Line: A fantastic toilet seat. Currently the best on the market.
One morning I decided it was time to start potty training. We are in a small apartment and I didn't want a toddler potty taking up room in our bathroom. I got on the computer and started my research.

My husband laughed at me for researching. He said, " What? Like the kids fall in the toilet or something?" Much to his surprise and mine....yes...
After reading about boys making a mess and kids falling in the toilet I came across this one. It was priced higher than the rest but there were really no complaints. So I decided to give it a try...
Features and Ease of Use
You put this seat on your toilet and turn a dial in the back to tighten the fit on your toilet seat. By turning the dial you move two little arms on the underside against your toilet seats brim. I love this feature because I don't have to worry about it fitting our toilet or anyone else's if we travel with it.
It is made out of contoured plastic. My 13 month old has no problem sitting on it without my help. The seat dips down where the child's legs go and rises in the front to help little boys. It is easy to wipe down on wash in a larger sink.
The seat also has a rubber seal around the bottom edge so there is no space for urine to leak out the sides or get trapped. I believe this might also help it be slip resistant.
It has a rubber loop (a continuation of the seal) that makes removing it from the toilet easy for little ones or to allow you to hang it out of the way.
Where to buy
I was able to find the Bjorn at my local Babies R Us. It comes ready to use. All the instructions are on the outside of the box and they included a random picture of a child on the potty (for wall art or inspiration maybe???)
If you are truly against spending $25-30 on a toddler training seat then check out craigslist or ebay and just give the seat a good cleaning before using it (obviously.)
I did read somewhere that someone stuck theirs in the dishwasher. While it doesn't say anything about that on the package, I thought it was interesting, but it might cause un-needed wear on the rubber seal (from the drying cycle.)
After using this seat a month, I am glad I spent the extra money. I have no complaints at all. I only wish they had included a travel bag or something similar. Amazingly enough my daughter can even safely get off the potty herself with the right stool in place. I plan to keep this for future children use and I would buy it again in an instant.
