Baby Born is a very nice doll. One that I am sure will last my daughters life time and into her having her own children. The main problem with her is that she is not cuddley at all! Which is why she stays on the shelf at our home all the time.
Zepf came out with a baby sister for Baby Born and she is called Chou chou. We got her at Costco last year around Thanksgiving for $19.99. She came wearing a very nice outfit but you could buy additional packs of three outfits for $19.99 also. This is the prettiest baby and the most cuddlie we have ever had. Everyone who sees her thinks she is real. We always get stopped to ask about her and where she came from. I even got chewed out by a woman and her sister thinking I was letting my 8 year old daughter carry my very tiny new born around in the store. They really felt stupid when they found out it was a doll. This doll is the better pick I think all around and is good for children even three years old even though she is a little heavy for them to carry a long time.
Baby Born gives a child the chance to see what it is like to take care of a baby. Feeding it, changing it and all but her sister is much better to love. She is a cloth doll and you can't feed her but you can change her diaper if you want.
I really like the Zepf products and would give both dolls a thumbs up.
