Pros: The SUV of strollers. It will go through anything.
Cons: Won't replace the need for a small stroller.
The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this stroller to anyone with a busy schedule that would like to spend work-out time with their kids.

| Daxman's Full Review: Baby Jogger Twinner II Stroller |
Epinions classifies the Twinner II as a baby stroller. Not in my eyes. This is a work-out tool, classroom, and marital aid.
The work out
The Twinner II made by Baby Jogger adds some variety to your normal running/walking workout. Running while pushing the Twinner II will really get the heart rate going. It’s just the physics of pushing more weight not anything bad about the design.
In fact, the efficiency of the Twinner II surprised me. It is well balanced, even if only one child rides. The wheels are pneumatic based bicycle tires that make for a smooth and fast-as-you-can go ride. The large diameter wheels also help if you happen to go through some loose dirt or sand.
The classroom
Now that the kids are a little older, (4,3) I love how they are asking lots of questions during the runs and how they look for different things to show me. Look Daddy, there is a squirrel, etc… Not only does this make the run go quicker, but it is helping the girls learn.
One of the lessons I hope they learn is that their parents are health conscious and that exercise is good for you. I think teaching by example is the best way.
The classroom is mobile and the route changes often. My kids would get bored seeing the same things all the time, so we mix up the routes. As we live on a military installation, there are many parks and playgrounds within a few miles. So we will go to a few different playgrounds along the route, hopefully expanding their sense of direction.
Marital aid (Moms can skip this section)
The Mrs. has the toughest job in the world as a SAHM. We went through some trying times when the girls were both in diapers. (16 month separation) She was so thankful when I would put the girls in the Twinner II and take them out for 30 minutes or so when I came home for lunch. Besides the good stuff mentioned above, this provided my wife a little bit of sanity to get through the afternoon.
Particulars
Size- the Twinner II is a large stroller designed for two children with a combined weight less than 100 pounds.
Wheels- select from 12”,16”,20” diameters. All of the wheels are designed for quick release. When removing the back wheels, be careful not to get any axle grease on you.
Transportability- once you take the wheels off, the Twinner II folds up quite easily and fits in a mid-size cars trunk.
Safety- there is a hand brake that is connected to a bicycle style brake on the front wheel. The brake also has a lock feature so that it won’t start rolling away on you. Additionally, there is a safety strap for you to carry so that in the case of the runner falling, you still won’t let the stroller get away from you.
Accessories:
· Sun Canopy- provides a roof to protect your passengers from those UV rays.
· Basket- provides extra storage under the seats. Considering that there are two pouches behind the seats for juice, cookies, water bottle, etc… we didn’t need the extra storage space.
· Rain Canopy- see through plastic to keep your passengers dry. If its raining, I’m not taking the kids out for a run so we didn’t get this.
· Bug Canopy- mosquito net fabric to keep the bugs off. Didn’t quite see the need for this one either, but if bugs/mosquitoes are bad in your area that would be a different story.
Miscellaneous
The Twinner II comes in 8 different colors: Red, Midnight Blue, Purple Shimmer, Cranberry, Sapphire, Cornflower Blue, Jade, and Grape. The fabric is water resistant and machine washable. After close to three years of ownership, the fabric is starting to fade in certain areas. In all other areas the Twinner II is holding up great.
I would highly recommend this stroller to anyone with a busy schedule that would like to spend work-out time with their kids.
Thanks for reading and have a great run!
