luvmysoldier's Full Review: Baby Moon Fitted Diapers
I was lucky enough to get ahold of a Baby Moon diaper (they are hard to come by!) through auction at WAHMall.com a few weeks ago. I paid $8 for this beauty of a diaper and it was well worth every penny spent!
This diaper came to me used, but still in excellent condition. There were no stains on the diaper when I received it, and no pilling. The person I bought it from said it had been used for quite a few months, and from the looks of it, it's held up very well. The diaper I bought was made of knit material, a white background printed with multicolored cartoon airplanes. Too cute! The primary colors were very vibrant. The inside of the diaper is also lined with knit material, nice and comfy against baby's skin.
The soaker pad on this diaper is nice and thick, and absorbs well. My son wore this diaper without a cover for about an hour before the front of the diaper felt wet. He is a very heavy wetter and soaks through most other WAHM diapers in about 30-45 minutes.
The diaper I bought is a side snap. I favor side snap diapers over front snap diapers because I found that the side snaps fit better. Front snaps tend to droop a bit in the front when they get wet. Side snaps keep the front of the diaper night and snug against my son's belly, even when wet.
I only have one complaint about this diaper, and that is that it is quite bulky. I don't really mind this if we aren't going anywhere, because my son usually just wears a diaper (no cover) around the house. But if we have somewhere to go, it can be frustrating to try and get a cover to fit over the huge diaper. Not only that, but try finding a pair of pants/shorts that fits over the diaper and cover. Mama's ready to rip her hair out.
However, even with the bulkiness, I still love this diaper. It washes and dries very well, with little to no pilling after many washes. Stains seem to come out of the Baby Moon diaper pretty easily. Drying time for this diaper is about two hours, which is the norm for most WAHM dipes.
If I could, I would love to get my hands on some more Baby Moon diapers. That will take a stroke of luck, however. If you manage to find some, I urge you to snatch them up, you won't be sorry you did.
