In all of my shopping around for a stroller to accommodate my growing family the Baby Trend Sit and Stand Double Stroller was the only thing I found that met my needs.

I went to every store in town to look for a double stroller that I could love for a long. At Target I found the Baby Trend Sit N Stand Plus and fell in love. It was only $159.99 and had a feature I had not seen in any other stroller, the ability to convert from double to sit n stand. When I went back to make my purchase they were no longer carrying it in store so I went on line. At target.com the shipping made my total over $200 and that was too much for me. I went to babytrend.com and was able to see all of the colors and designs available. They also offer a feature that tells you who carries the one you are looking for. My purchase was made at strollerdepot.com, who offered the metropolitan design and free shipping.
With 2 kids under 2 I needed something that could be used both immediately and for several years. This stroller offers an amazing value as it is very competitively priced and the ability to see you through infancy to age 5 depending on the size of your child is amazing. Right now I am still using it as a standard double stroller and this is what I know. It folds easily with handles on both sides of the front seat to help pull it closed, something that is not noticeable until you go to fold it up. This makes getting into the car ofter a trip very easy. It folds to a size slightly thicker but no longer then my single stroller did, so I have no problem fitting it into my trunk. When in the folded position it stands sturdy due to the platform that will later make it a sit and stand, so no worries about my toddler pushing it over. I was worried that even with the "stadium seating" my daughter would not get to see where we were going, which is not the case. I am very pleased with the maneuverability as I read many reviews that said double strollers where difficult to maneuver. I am able to navigate myself there the stacks of books at the library with nearly no problem.
I can't wait to use it as a sit n stand when my daughter is older. I played with it some to see how hard the seat would be to remove and was able to do it in just a few minutes without even looking at the instructions. The fastening points were very easy to find and the seat belts were stored, already attached, in pockets on the back of the front seat. My daughter was crawling all over it and in the basket undernieth making it start to sag, so we will continue to use this as a double stroller until she is at least 3. Putting the seat back on was just as easy as taking it off and looked just the way it did before. This was nice to see since I tend to think things never look the same once you take them apart and reassemble.
The trays were a little difficult to use at first but after playing with them several times have become easy to use. The basket is the only down side but was something that I expected. The basket is located in the only possible place, which is under the rear child's feet. This makes it hard to use for my things but fine for my kids toys. It is much easier to get to when in the sit n stand position. Overall I am impressed and would definitely buy this again.
