I have two and a half year old twins, so we have become diaper connoisseurs in our house. I picked out many things from my registry based on recommendations in Baby Bargains, and this diaper pail was rated very highly, so it went onto my registry. I ended up finding not one, but two of them (one for each level of my home), through yard sales and my Multiples club resale. Even though I bought the products used, they have still surpassed my expectations in every way! They contain the smell wonderfully, and I love the fact that they use regular trash bags. The convenience and value of not having to buy separate diaper bag refills is just amazing. The only time I ever notice the smell of diapers is when I change the bag, and I simply spray the pail out with some air freshener and let it dry before putting a new bag in. I have also noticed the pail does occasionally jam, but this is only when I have let it become too full before changing the bag. My only other concern has always been that the kids would put a toy into the pail, and I would never even know it, but I just keep the pails out of their reach to avoid this. This product is well worth the price, but even if you get one used, you will still get a great value for your dollar!
