Pros: well built, heavy construction, great looks and convertibility
Cons: not easy to move through doors
The Bottom Line: Do not look at this bed as just a crib, the ability to go from age 1day to 100yr is worth the weight in gold.

| xtremca2003's Full Review: Babys Dream Generation Next |
We purchased this bed in the oak cherry rather than the pine because of concerns of teething marks. I am glad we chose the oak wood in this bed. The bed is built very well and uses high quality materials. My only complaint is that you do need 2 hands to open the top crib rail and that attachments are not the easy to install in the crib due to the wide planks. My son is now 2 and we have already converted it to a full size bed. Ever since doing so he has discontinued the use of our bed:). My wife and I have been discussing having another child and I contacted the dealer looking to see if this model was still being made. I told them what we had and was told that oak was longer available. So I am a little disappointed. I do rec. that any one looking into buying this bed to purchase the matching wood mattress rails for use when converting to a normal bed. These rails really do dress up the bed when converted to a full mattress. ps make sure to use the metal optional brackets that come with the wood rails as the rail brackets do not seem to be quite enough hold for all the weight of the wood and bed.
