| rcandap's Full Review: Babys Dream Generation Next |
We picked this crib because it was high-quality and classic looking, and is supposed to go through all stages of the child's life. I probably wouldn't choose it again, however, for a few reasons. One, the drop gate is very top-heavy, requires both hands to lower, and if you aren't careful can bang down with impressive volume really startling the baby (has happened more than once to us). Two, no normal crib bedding fits--bumper ties won't go around the center or end panels and a skirt doesn't really work with it either. And lastly, it works well as a toddler daybed, but when we went to purchase the conversion kit to use it as a full-size bed (headboard/footboard) were told those packages are hard to find anymore, since people didn't like how it looked due to the noticeable holes in the wood when it was converted.
