Met my expectations.

Pros:funny, good ideas
Cons:demeaning, shallow
The Bottom Line: Good for the few that want these bad ideas.
I bought this book because I wanted some bad, silly ideas on getting away with things because I am a woman. This book did not disappoint. I especially loved the how to get free martini's idea. However, this book is shallow, self centered and demeaning in it's own right as well. Which I also expected. It simplifies woman hood, and leaves the reader with the impression that women can only get ahead by using their looks and manipulative powers. I really hope that isn't true. However, if you WANT to use your looks and manipulative powers, this book has some great ideas and I am sure that the majority of men would never read it, so your odds of getting caught are low. It's not in a story format, but short one or two page blurbs that take less than a minute to read. It does not need to be read in any order. I would read more Bad Girl books, but with the expectation that many of their ideas are just that, bad. This book does nothing towards equality or the woman's movement, but the schemes and ideas DO work. I can at least admit that. I could see how someone would hate this book, but I personally did not, however, it's not becoming my new bible.
