Pros:Organic, natural, nice scent, coats lips
The Bottom Line: This is a good natural lip balm. The scent is original and the balm does a good job of conditioning my lips.
Every time I see Badger Balm products, I want to try them. I love natural products, and the scents look appealing. I actually bought this as a gift for someone and then couldn't resist and tried it myself!

Badger Balm Mint Lip Balm
I bought this balm on drugstore.com, for around $3. I sometimes see this product in the grocery store or health food store, or places like Eastern Mountain Sports. A balm comes in a "typical" lip balm stick and holds .15 oz.
Organic Spearmint, Organic Peppermint, Sweet Birch, and Organic Lavender, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Natural Golden Yellow Beeswax, Castor Bean Oil and extracts of Organic Aloe Vera, Rose Hip & Organic Seabuckthorn Berry
The first appeal of this product is that it is natural and organic. The ingredients are healthy and safe, and while I was pregnant I didn't want to pollute my body with anything I didn't need to. I also like the look of these products, which I think are cute (who can resist a badger?!).
This balm is a slightly translucent off-white, and smells mostly like mint and lavender. The smell is distinct and strong, but not overwhelming.
This balm is slightly waxy, and is not sticky. It goes on smooth and not too thick. It leaves a nice coating on my lips and wears well. This does leave my lips a little shiny, so I would say this probably isn't one for the guys.
This is the kind of balm I remember using as a kid - just a regular stick balm. During the day I usually wear glosses or lipstick, so I generally stick to using this at night. It is a good conditioner for my lips and heals and soothes them if my lips are chapped. I haven't used this elsewhere on my body, except for above my nose when I have a cold and there is that wonderful red area between my nose and lips, and it definitely helps to soothe my skin.
I have used this on my daughter (who is about 1 year old). When she has a cold and it gets really red and chapped on and around her nose, I put this on at bed time. I have to say, it looks like it improves pretty quickly, and looks like it is soothed at least a little bit by morning!
I should add that this does leave a little bit of a minty "tingle". I would probably not use this on irritated skin if I thought it would burn. It is just a very faint tingle, just a nice cooling effect which is enjoyable, not something that detracts from the product.
I would probably compare this to my Burt's Bees peppermint balm. It is natural and soothing, and coats my lips well. It is your typical sort of balm but smells great and leaves my lips soft and conditioned.
