Pros: Inexpensive Treatment For Dry Feet And Cracked Heels That Does Work!
That's right I have come here today to share with you one of the amazing products that I use on Cracked Heels, Dry Feet, Chapped Hands, and Sunburn. The name of the product is Bag Balm. It is a very inexpensive product that I use. I can purchase a 10 ounce metal container for under $6.00. It is also a Antiseptic Ointment. I believe this is why it heals.
Bag Balm has been around since 1899. Now that's a long time. I have always had a container of it around as long as I can remember. I believe it was something that was passed on by my Grandparents. It plainly says on the container for Veterinary use only. Well, I am no Vet. But, I have used this product for years. I have Cattle and Buffalo here at my Ranch. I use Bag Balm on the mother's udder's to soften it for their babies. I won't go into to all of that, because I am here to share with you what it has done for me.
I have always been in search of a product to heal my Cracked Heels and Dry Feet. Yes, I had them (notice the word had) and maybe some of you do too. My feet hurt so bad and my heels would sometimes bleed. I didn't like to wear sandals out in public. But thanks to Bag Balm this has been a great summer. I am able to walk without pain. I am also able to wear any type of sandal I like.
I started applying Bag Balm to my feet and hands. Only at Bedtime. I would take my shower and use a pumice stone on my heels, to slough away the dead skin. Then when I get to bed I would apply Bag Balm generously to my feet. What is left on my hands I simply rub it in. And yes, this is a very greasy product. That is why I use it at bed time. It is a thick yellowish type ointment. The scent is not offensive and I honestly like it.
What has happened to my heels? They are beautiful now. All of the ugly cracks and the pain is all gone. I do not even have to use a pumice anymore. I know......Can you believe it? It's true and I just had to share it with the world. I have spent a fortune on creams and lotions always searching for something to help my feet. And, all along it was right under my nose. I just apply Bag Balm once a week now at bed time to insure that I never go through what I have been through again.
I have a friend who is a Welder and he always gets burns from the sparks when welding. I got him to try Bag Balm on his burn spots. And tada..... They have healed up completely and much faster than the other ointments he was using. So, now he is sold on Bag Balm. I know some people use it when they dive and some people use it on their hair. It is an old product that has been around for years and it is for men and women alike.
Oh, but Ms. Nunn....how did you discover this for your heels? Well it was by accident, I feel like. I had a bad sunburn this summer and I was desperate. So I used Bag Balm on my sunburn. Low and behold I did not peel. So, I thought well, if it works that good on sunburn let me try it on my feet and heels. So, I did. And the rest is history. My feet thank me for it and I thank Bag Balm and the makers of Bag Balm. I hope you have another 100 years!
I believe if you have those dreaded cracked heels, and you give Bag Balm a try. You will be amazed. It is so inexpensive and my 10 ounce container is still half full. So you see, it doesn't take much to get wonderful results.

I rate Bag Balm a 5. It is a miracle ointment in my book! With winter approaching fast, you should purchase a jar quickly. Why? So you don't snag your socks or stockings all winter! Besides, you will have great looking feet for next summer! :-)
