I bought this pump because it was the only pump that had a 30 money back guaranty. This gave me piece of mind because I had a battery operated pump I wasn't able to use - in other words, I couldn't get breastmilk out with the battery pump. Anyway, this pump was relatively inexpensive and with the guaranty I felt I couldn't go wrong.
I was able to produce breastmilk with this pump but found that the interaction required (I had to put my finger up and down on an air suction device to get the pump working) by me made me feel like this was not an electric pump, rather it felt almost manual. Getting the pump together was rather easy but using both pumps at the same time was quite difficult because you are required to use your finger to get the suction working. This is the biggest (and only but that is enough) draw back on this product. If you didn't have to use your finger to create the "suction action" I would rate this product entirely differently.
For someone who needs to save money, this is a great alternative to the Ameda and Medela brands.
