Triple Layer Strawberry Cheesecake Balance Bar has become my first choice for a quick breakfast on the run. I have purchased several brands and flavors of breakfast and/or energy bars in the past to have on hand for those mornings when you running late or need a boost before lunchtime. This has been the best bar I've tried so far. Read on and I'll tell you why.

Packaging

I bought the 6 pack of Balance Gold Bar in the Triple Layer Cheesecake flavor. They were on special for $4.99 a package so this was a good deal, making each bar less than $1.00 each. They are also available individually for around $1.99 each.

Each bar is wrapped individually and weighs in at 1.76 oz. The wrappers are very colorful being blue and fushia with white and gold lettering.

My Evaluation of Triple Layer Cheesecake Balance Gold Bars

This energy bar is a nice size. It is also heavier than most energy bars which have fluffed up ingredients to make the bar *appear* larger. I first thought that since ingredients were so compressed that it must taste bitter. I was so wrong! When you open the wrapper you will be greeted by a natural fruit flavor. At this point I'm thinking...it smells good, but does it taste good? First bite....smile...great flavor! The strawberry cheesecake tastes like strawberry and mild white chocolate to me. It is sweet but not too sweet.

I find that the Triple Layer Cheesecake Balance Gold Bar provides a great taste, energy, and satisfies hunger. It holds me for a full morning, just as if I had eaten a full size breakfast. I can't say this for other products. They usually hold me for 2 hours maximum and then I'm back to hunger pains.
