eden101's Full Review: Banzai Original Banzai Falls Water Slide
We have had the Bonzai Falls Water Slide for 3 or 4 years, and the whole family loves it!
The set up is more simplistic than it may appear. The most difficult part is to find a flat, suitable piece of land near your hose and pound the spikes to hold the plastic as you would a tent. Once this is finished, you simply turn the switch on and it inflates within a few minutes. Finally, the hose attaches to your garden hose, which is what creates the spray to slide through at the top. Once it's inflated and the hose is on, I recommend that you wait a few hours so that the water collected in the pool at the bottom of the slide has a chance to warm up in the sun; you don't want it to be ice cold for your little ones.
We have used this at our 8 year old's last two birthday parties in August. Everyone at the party loved it and played for 3 or 4 hours straight. One drawback is that there is a weight limit, which if I remember correctly is 200 pounds. Even so, we have never had the slightest problem with durability; the plastic and materials are very hardy even with a lot of use.
We take it down every night just in case there's a storm. Once dry, it easily fits back into its box.
This is a big hit for family fun that most everyone can participate in. There are no chemicals involved, so the maintenance and care are much simpler than owning your own pool, but you still get to cool off. We give Bonzai Falls Water Slide an A+!
