Ken® arrives looking more dashing than normal, and possibly the most unique I have seen! And, parents, he is just in time for Christmas splendor. Can you say, “We know what Santa is bringing a certain ballerina within the Warren home!” Naturally, Mom is being her excited over new product self, and closely inspecting this doll before storing it for Christmas Eve arrival. I like what I see and feel. This is not your run-of-the-mill Ken® doll!

I will hand the admiration – and parental frustration – to Barbie® by Mattel this holiday season! Why? Well, because naturally the marketing hype has my competition dancer twinkling for Nutcracker Barbie® paraphernalia. And, as normal, the pieces are sold individually. Although slightly frustrating, this may be concerned an attribute. I am certain the set would cost a large amount. Whereas… with individually purchasing the pieces, I can pay cash and store up for gift giving time.

My youngest daughter is in her ballet academy Nutcracker performance this year. So it was a given that the entire line-up of Barbie® nutcracker would land within her most desired score list. She adores dance, competes in ballet and tap, and dreams of being a ballerina when she grows up.

Ken® as Prince Eric in the Nutcracker

Ken® arrives looking incredibly handsome and ready for the role of Prince Eric from The Nutcracker ballet. His outfit consists of white pants, a regal red velvet jacket, tall – royal blue boots, gold braid details, and removable gold crown. Accessories include a nicely designed mask with attached cape, tall blue hat, a golden sword that fits into his hand, and a clear acrylic display stand. His hair is real – not plastic, and is a delightful brown hue.

A notable attribute regarding Ken® as Prince Eric in the Nutcracker, is his ability to join Barbie® as the Sugar Plum Princess on her revolving display stand. What a beautiful pair they are, and she is jointed to pose in realistic ballet positions.

Seriously, this Ken® is a must have for your little girl that adores fairy tale princess adventures. Do consider purchasing this doll early, as I have noticed a rapid dwindle in the local supply. Priced at 17.99, this doll will make a terrific Christmas treat!

My daughter owns the Barbie® in The Nutcracker VHS, has picked up three of the Kelly® Nutcracker dolls, and has fingers crossed that Santa will deliver. I know that she will spend hours of make-believe play with Ken as Prince Eric in the Nutcracker and the other Nutcracker items she will receive.
