Pros: It's Spongebob! Awesome outfit! One of the prettier Barbies out there.
Cons: It's Barbie! The surfboard is cardboard/paper.
The Bottom Line: This doll is just too cute. Perfect for any Spongebob and/or Barbie fan. It is bright, fun, and adorable.

My four year old is a die hard Spongebob fan! I admit, I like him, too. She isn't nuts about Barbie, but she's getting into her somewhat. My cousin bought her Barbie Loves Spongebob doll for her 4th birthday. You'd have thought she handed her $100 or something.
The Doll
She's your average 12" tall, blonde Barbie. She has the same tiny waistline as all prim and proper Barbies. She has the same smile, same funny shaped feet, and the same perky chest that all women know is absolutely FAKE!
The Outfit
Barbie is dressed in skin tight shorts and a skin tight shirt with Spongebob Squarepants all over. Hot pink, teal, and yellow are the bright colors in this mix. The outfit is really cute, especially if you love that yellow sponge. She has a bright yellow sunvisor, as well. The doll comes with a paper surfboard that features bright colors and Spongebob in the center.
The Spongebob
There is a teeny, tiny Spongebob figure with the doll. It's a couple of inches tall and features Spongebob surfing. It's as adorable as all Spongebob Squarepants items could possibly be. I just hear his funny laugh and crazy voice each time I look at the little figure on my daughter's entertainment center. He is just that real.
Overall
This is a really cute doll, for a Barbie. I do think the blonde hair is somewhat different than many Barbie dolls. It is softer or something. It's very, very bleached, maybe for the sun/beach effect. She is one of the prettier Barbie's I have seen.
Spongebob sets it all off perfectly. I don't know if my daughter would have been as excited had the doll not been a Spongebob themed one. Barbie just isn't top dog in our house. Between the outfit and the little Spongebob figure, I think it is an accomplishment for Mattel. I do think it would be great if they would produce more Spongebob outfits for Barbie that could be purchased separate.

Overall Opinion
For a Barbie doll, on a scale of 0-5 (5 being best), I give this Barbie a 5. Maybe it's because of Spongebob, maybe it's because I think this Barbie is prettier than most. I would recommend this doll to any Spongebob fans or any fans of Barbie. It's a must have for a Barbie or Spongebob collection. It's not the cheapest Barbie on the market, but you're getting two toys/collectibles for the price. This would make a great Christmas or birthday gift.
