I’m 45 and while I don’t really care about wrinkles but I hate having pimples at my age. I’m lucky in that using Bare Minerals I don’t have many but I do still get some. I also have a little rosacea and large pores. When I received a nice gift certificate for a new Bare Escentuals store I took a trip to see what was new and try out some products I might not purchase if I couldn’t try them in person. This rather expensive Bare Escentuals RareMinerals Skin Revival Treatment – Night, product is one of them.

Made to be worn at night, it can be used with or replace your normal nighttime cream. It comes tinted or clear so you can cover your problems (fine lines, pimples, enlarged pores, etc.) while you correct them.

It is preservative and irritant free and has very little smell to it. A soft, soothing powder, you apply it with the built-in powder puff. My one complaint is the bottle is opaque so you can’t see how much is left in the bottle and since the powder is so lightweight there’s no clue that you’re running out.

Within one week, I noticed a huge improvement in the fine lines around my eyes, the rosacea around my nose, and the size of my pores on my nose, forehead, and chin. It did all this without drying out my skin or making it flaky. I also didn’t feel like I was going to bed with makeup on, although I confess, I slept in my Bare Minerals everyday before I switched to this anyway. It feels quite similar to the Bare Minerals foundation.

I chose the light color because it most closely matched my skin and the sale’s person mentioned that choosing a color would help me see where I had applied it. I just thought it’d be nice to have those ugly pimples undercover when they do pop up which is just about once a month now.

I’ve used it for three months now and will continue using it because of the amazing skin I have. I’m still on the first bottle and guess that I’ll be purchasing a new bottle at the end of this month. Considering this is taking the place of a cleanser, toner, moisturizer, and pimple cream it’s not so expensive after all. I simply wash my face with a warm washcloth – water only – dry it completely and apply the Bare Escentuals RareMinerals Skin Revival Treatment.

I highly recommend it for people like me who have t-zone issues and large pores – it works fabulously!
