MY EXPERIENCE
I LOVE Bare Mineral / Bare Escentuals and have been using them for a few years. I started with a kit that included the basics – face color and eye shadows. From there I added bits and pieces until now it’s the only makeup I use. When I went to add their mascara, it was an easy pick for me. I only wear waterproof because for some odd reason my eyes tear up most of the day and regular mascara runs. When shopping at Sephora Online, my favorite place to purchase my BE, my second favorite spot is eBay.com, my only choice was I.d Weather Everything Waterproof Mascara . While it made choosing easier it also meant my choices were limited as this mascara only comes in black and I prefer a black-brown or brown.

Since waterproof is more important than color, I purchased the mascara anyway, and I’m glad I did. It arrived and I tried it immediately and haven’t used anything since. The tube is easy to handle and the applicator is straight (like I prefer them). Should you prefer a bent applicator it’s pliable enough to give it a bend. The brush is lusciously full and it applies a perfect amount of mascara without becoming clumpy.

My lashes are longer and fuller – exactly as it promises – without looking like I’ve got tons of mascara on. I was worried about wearing black since I prefer a more natural look. It is natural, just enhanced and not goopy. They are also waterproof! This mascara stays on until I take it off with their eye makeup remover. I’ve not had any allergic reaction whatsoever and my tearing problem seems to have gotten a little better, perhaps it was caused by my old mascara. I’m not willing to go back to the old stuff to find out.

The mascara lasts approximately 6 months with daily use, sometimes longer, but I only use it on my top lashes. Someone who does her full lashes would probably use it up more quickly. Mascara should be discarded about that often anyway because of the possibility of bacteria growth.

I recommend this mascara for its waterproof ability, longwearing color, and ease of use. It’s an all around a fabulous product as I’ve found all of my Bare Escentuals products to be. By the way, this is made in the USA – how can you go wrong?
