Pros:pepper spray, jam in the box '99, the bass queen
Cons:sounds just like Icey, but who's saying that's a bad thing?
Well it may be sad, but I too bought this album based mainly upon the girl on the cover. I had heard of Baby Anne before, and i knew she was one of DJ Icey's deciples, but I probably wouldn't have bought this album if not for Anne's stunning looks on the cover. I came to found out that this CD had a lot of tracks that had become club anthems around Charlotte and surrounding areas.
Baby Anne knows how to keep a crowd jumping with her funky Floridian based sound. This album is often played in my car, at my house, or at a friends house when things start get a little lively before we go out for a rave. This album has some of the best break/funk anthems that we east coasters have come to love, "Pepper Spray", "Come Into my House", and her own original track, "The Bass Queen" which she played an extended 15 minute version of at the last party she spun at in Charlotte.
She..uh it..was a beautiful thing. =)
