BASSWAX
I ran across BASSWAX last year while gearing up to go bass fishing in Shasta Lake, California. My dad had tried it and recommended it as a excellent new fish attractant. His older brother and my uncle, Steve McMaster had invented the new fishing product, BASSWAX. As Uncle Steve is an avid bass fisherman and has been all of his life, I was not surprised. There are several different types of BASSWAX. Their uses would depend on what type of fish you like to go for. I know bass are not too particular and like to hit on all five flavors of BASSWAX. I have had good luck using the Garlic and Sardine scents while fishing for bass. I use the Crawdad scent on my lures and bait when fishing for Trout, Steelhead and Rainbows. I have not had the time to try the garlic scent on catfish but I have a feeling itd work great. So far, I have had very good results using the scents on bass and trout and landed a couple very respectable Rainbows out of the Klamath River.
HOW TO APPLY BASSWAX
BASSWAX comes in a container about three times the size of a tube of chap stick. It also works on the same principles as a tube of chap stick. The scents are in a wax form. As you use the scented BASSWAX you just twist the bottom and more BASSWAX is at your disposal. The wax is soft enough to apply to any lure or bait. It also stays on whatever you are fishing with for many casts. I re apply more BASSWAX about every 25 casts. One tube goes a very long ways. Just take the cap off and rub the BASSWAX fish attractant on your favorite bass lure and give it a whirl. I apply it in moderation, the scent goes a long ways.

Garlic Scent
Sardine Scent
Salty Shad
Conclusion
I would recommend BASSWAX to any angler and especially the bass angler. Any fisherman can use BASSWAX from beginner to advanced. When you see the guys winning the tournaments, odds are they have a tube of BASSWAX. The stuff fits right in your pocket and its easy to use. The ingredients are wax and natural oils. You don't want to get this stuff mixed up with your chap stick, it tastes nasty. Besides who wants to go home with their mustache smelling like salty shad? Have a great day.
