toponceblue's Full Review: Bath & Body Works Pleasures Body Lotion
I have been using Bath & Body Works Pleasures Body Lotion since I was in the 8th grade. I am now a freshman in college and when I was preparing to move away the one thing I made sure I had was my Bath & Body Lotion. My new college town is a very small town in Utah and there isn't a Bath & Body Store within several miles. We have a Wal-Mart (of course) and a Kent's Market. I first started using Bath & Body Work Pleasures Lotion because my sister discovered it. I have two older sisters and they have passed down their knowledge about several items that girls love. Lucky for me! Bath & Body Works Pleasures Lotion has been one of my favorites that they have told me about. I also enjoy Bath & Body Works Body Splash that comes in the same scents as the lotions. If you put the splash in the refrigerator during the summer you can give yourself a quick and fresh pick me up as well as a fresh scent.
FRAGRANCES: Bath & Body Works Pleasures Lotion comes in several different scents. My favorites are Sweet Pea and Coconut Lime Verbena. Sweet Pea has a sweet treat like smell, it may smell too sweet to some. Coconut Lime Verbena reminds me of the beach, it smells like pina colada. Fragrances also include; Black Raspberry Vanilla, Cotton Blossom, Moonlight Path, Peony, and Warm Vanilla Sugar (my old boyfriend must have liked this scent because he gave it to me twice). That is just a few of the scents you can purchase, there are many others. Each fragrance comes in a different color. Sweet pea comes in pink, Coconut Lime Verbena comes in light green and Warm Vanilla Sugar comes in tan. Each scent also comes with a matching Body Splash.
DIRECTIONS: Use daily. Smooth over skin to moisturize and fragrance. I do exactly that! I use it daily. Bath & Body Work Pleasures Lotion goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly. It doesn't leave you with a lotion residue or oily feeling. I usually use the cream lotion rather than the bottle lotion because it seems to contain more moisture and I can get better coverage on those commonly dry areas like elbows, knees and feet. I can use Bath & Body Work Pleasures Lotion even in the summer heat here in Utah and not get that lotioned up feeling.
COST: 8 oz bottle of lotion or body splash costs $9.00. This may seem a little pricey but I buy several bottles at a time (you can mix and match fragrances and lotions with splashes) and get it at a much lower cost. If you buy 3 you can get one free. My mom usually buys enough for my sisters, myself and herself so it isn't hard to buy several at a time. We also usually get several coupons in the mail for Bath & Body so we watch for those and use them.
ADDED BONUS: This product is NOT animal tested!
I would recommend Bath & Body Works Pleasures Lotion to everyone. It gives me a clean fresh feeling and keeps my skin soft. I don't know if it had anything to do with years of using Bath & Body Works Pleasures Lotion but the boys love to feel my arms, they are extremely soft, they just can't stop. While Bath & Body Work Pleasures Lotion is more expensive than the drug store brand I have found it is worth every extra penny. This is a product I don't go without!
