Pros: Nice light floral scent. Slightly sweet.
Cons: Not an exact match to the lotion.
In general, I prefer to use body sprays or splashes rather than perfume or colognes as they do tend to have a lighter scent. In general, they also tend to be a little less expensive than perfume or cologne. I like to have the various Bath & Body Works products as their scents are heavenly and allow for a little bit of self indulgence. I recently purchased Bath & Body Work Plumeria Body Splash as I had fallen in love with the scent when I began using the lotion. I prefer to wear lotions and sprays that are identical to prevent any weird mixes. I purchased a bottle for $7 as it was on sale. The body splash typically sells for $10.50. Sets are available if you are interested in purchasing more than one item in this scent.
Bath & Body Work Plumeria Body Splash comes in a 9 inch high clear spray bottle that has pictures of the flower on it. The body splash has a light pink tint to it but goes on clear so there is no need to worry about stains. The pump of the spray presses down easy and is not prone to clogs. The bottle itself is approximately 2 inches in diameter. The bottle fits nicely on a bathroom counter but may be a tight fit in a purse.
When first applying the Bath & Body Work Plumeria Body Splash I first noticed that it initially puts off a strong alcohol scent which fades in a few seconds. I was first initially concerned about this but was quickly relieved when the strong alcohol scent faded. Left behind is a nice sweet floral scent that is able to last for a few hours. In hot weather, the scent will not likely last as long due to sweating. They advertise that a hint of ripe melon has been added although I am not quite able to notice it myself. The floral scent is sweet which is likely due to the added melon fragrance. I do notice the fruit scent in the lotion variety though and was a little disappointed in the difference. Even though it does not smell exactly like the lotion, I still enjoy the sweet floral scent and continue to use it. I have found that two squirts is a sufficient amount of body spray to use. This seems to allow for others who are nearby to pick up the scent without having the entire room aware of it. The body spray does blend nicely with the lotion and I frequently use them both. I have found that a few sprays in a medium sized room works extremely well for a quick refresh. The scent does not last quite as long as when it is used on the body but it is still nice. For smaller or larger rooms, you would want to adjust the amount used.
