I love Bath & Body Works Sea Island Cotton scent, and I've tried many products in the line. My latest is the Sea Island Cotton Body Butter.

Taken from the packaging: "Pure white cotton flows in fresh ocean air. Soft. Clean. Heavenly. This rich body butter is clinically proven to relieve dry skin and strengthen skin's natural moisture barrier, promoting healing to restore a healthy, beautiful appearance."
Bath & Body Works Sea Island Cotton Body Butter comes in a round 7 oz. plastic tub with a screw-off lid. The tub is shaped pretty much like a hockey puck. This rich body butter contains shea and jojoba butters, aloe, and nourishing vitamins E and B5. It also contains conditioning oat rice and soybean oils. Bath & Body Works tells us this is good for extremely dry, rough skin, and it provides intense, long-lasting moisture.
The key fragrance notes in the Sea Island Cotton scent are cotton blossom, drenched air, fresh linen, and soft powder.
The everyday price is $14 for the 7 oz. tub, but you can sometimes find it on special.
The full ingredient list is too small for my eyes, but the first ingredient listed after water is shea butter, then olive fruit oil.

~ My Experience
Usually I use a body lotion, rather than a body butter, especially in the summertime. But my skin felt especially dry today, and I wanted the Sea Island Cotton scent, so I used some Sea Island Cotton Body Butter after my shower.
The tub has a large, round opening which makes it easy to scoop out the thick, white body butter. This has what I would consider an average consistency for a body butter; very thick and rich. Of course that heavenly Sea Island Cotton scent is noticeable as soon as you remove the lid.
The body butter is pretty easy to distribute over my skin, and retains its creamy-like texture even in the winter I noticed, and doesn't get hard or difficult to apply. In the summer, it doesn't get watery either.
This is SO great for very dry skin, which is something I'm always dealing with, more so in the winter, but even sometimes in the summer. It feels very soothing on my skin. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin with a protective moisture barrier without making it feel slippery or greasy.
The really nice thing is Bath & Body Works Sea Island Cotton Body Butter last SOOO long! My skin stays moisturized all day, and that lovely, clean, fresh scent also lasts nearly all day. The scent is a perfect summer fragrance.
I use this on my feet, hands, elbows and knees, arms and legs, and anywhere I need to moisturize my skin. The scent is quite noticeable yet not overpowering. It might interfere with a perfume however. I use this instead of a perfume.
~ Final Thoughts Bath & Body Works Sea Island Cotton Body Butter is super moisturizing without being greasy, and leaves your skin soft and smooth, with a protective moisture barrier all day long. The delightful, clean Sea Island Cotton scent lingers for hours. Try this for dry skin and you will be amazed.
