I love Strawberry Daiquiri’s so when I spotted this Frozen Daiquiri bottle in Bath & Body Works, I was in heaven. I have a problem with the products in this store and can honestly say that I have way to many of them but can’t help myself from buying more. But I am finding, more often that there scents are becoming hit or miss with me. I wasn’t all that impressed with the Perfect Peach 3-in-1 and Orange Freeze 3-in-1 but there are others that I continue to buy over and over. I do have to say that the Bath & Body Works Frozen Daiquiri 3-in-1 is not one of my favorite’s but I would purchase it again if I found it on sale.
I ended up purchasing the smaller 4 fl oz. size of the Frozen Daiquiri scent because I didn’t want to be left with a big bottle if I didn’t like the scent. I purchased this on sale for $2.50 during the semi-annual sale they have twice a year. The small plastic bottle has a pink push down cap for easy dispensing. They also sell the larger 16 oz. bottle for $12 regular price.
~ Ingredients ~
Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycol Stearate, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Cocamide MEA, Fragrance, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Sodium Chloride, Hydrolyzed Wheat Starch, Glycerin, Polyquaternium-7, Sodium PCA, Amodimethicone, PEG-12 Dimethicone, PEG-150 Distearate, Acrylates Copolymer, Triethanolamine, Hydroxypropyl Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Benzophenone-4, Isopropyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Disodium EDTA, Citric Acid, Diazolidinyl Urea, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Hydroxycitronellal, Red 40, Red 33, and Yellow 5.
The Frozen Daiquiri 3-in-1 scent is not totally true to it’s claims. Taking a sniff from the open top, you get a lot of strawberry fruitiness, and that’s just all well and good. This is what I like most about this product, the fresh strawberry scent. You don’t really get a good lather but I’m not one that depends on the lather to give a product good ratings. It just doesn’t matter to me. Slathering it on your body is just like using any other beauty product except you get that wonderful fruity smell. Getting out is a disappointment because it just goes away from there. I’m not left with much scent on my skin, and what is left disappears in about ten minutes. So I’m a happy camper in the shower but not on the outside.
You can also use this as a bubble bath and I have been satisfied with the results even though you come out with the same no scent effect. A capful is all I use and I am treated to a nice strawberry scented bath water, without it being overly scented. I dare at least try this once on my hair and it’s just like every other 3-in-1, it doesn’t work even though it contains the conditioning B5. These 3-in-1’s always leave my hair a tangled mess.
This is not one of the seasonal scents that disappears after only one marketing campaign. The Frozen Daiquiri scent looks like it’s become a main staple in the temptations product line. The stores in my area still carry it. They also offer the body splash and lip gloss in this particular scent.
Overall, I do like this scent and would probably purchase it again if I found it on sale, but I cannot say I am totally satisfied with it. It’s a great product if you don’t mind having no lingering scent afterwards. It goes on well, cleans well, and provides a fruity smelling shower experience.
What I like most about these products is that Bath & Body Works does not test them on animals.
