| kay67's Full Review: Bath & Body Works Temptations Crazy Caramel Corn 3... |
Not this past Christmas but the year before my oldest son and his girlfriend came to our house to exchange gifts the night before Santa came. I told them I needed nothing but they didn't listen. I picked up my present after I gave the Hailey and Anthony theirs, and sat down to open it. I was secretly hoping for more candles since I love candles. (Almost every scent imaginable except vanilla). Nope, no candles this time, instead I found a 3 in 1 body wash from Bath & Body Works. I had told his girlfriend previously in passing I was looking for different body washes so she picked this out for me.
Bath & Body Works Temptations Crazy Caramel Corn 3 In 1 Body Wash, Bubble Bath and Shampoo
The first thing I noticed was the name on the 16oz bottle. I love all junk food and sweets so the name was catchy and I thought maybe I'll like this product as a body wash. The bottle is light brown and decorated with popcorn on the front. I'm not a frilly type girly girl but I do like to smell good. The immediate downside to this for me is I cannot sit in tub water so I will never find out how this is as a bubble bath.
My nephew was here one weekend and I poured some of the Bath & Body Works Crazy Caramel Corn 3 in 1 into the tub for him one evening at bathtime and he laughed at the scent. It made pretty good bubbles and even kept him occupied in the tub for 10 minutes. I think it's good for kids to relax in bubbles and I did that with my boys when they got old enough to be in the tub alone. Now that my boys are out of the house I have other victims to torture with bubbles. Hailey is the daughter of my oldest son's girlfriend and she is a lil over 3 now I think and when they are here I make a bubble bath for her and her little brother Anthony who is almost 2. All kids like popcorn so I share the Bath & Body Works with the kids. I probably pour almost a quarter cup under the running water as the tub is filling.
I used this the first time a couple days after Christmas. Got my things together and got into the shower. I opened the bottle and poured about a quarter sized plus some onto my pooofy sponge and proceeded to shower. I like the thick consistency of the body wash combo. I noticed this Bath & Body Works 3 in 1 Body Wash produces a nice lather and rinsed off cleanly without leaving a residue behind. On the downside I could smell butter pretty strongly but not really the caramel corn popcorn I had expected.
I usually use Garnier Fructise on my hair but it seems like it started drying it out so I've stopped using that and am now searching and experimenting with other shampoos and conditioners. I do not use a shampoo and conditioner combo. I've tried that it does not work at all for me. Since this Bath and Body Work 3 in 1 is a combo, I didn't try it on my hair since when my hair tangles it really makes a terrific knot so I try to avoid knots. My hair is trying to get to my waist but I only get it cut maybe once a year.
Had I purchased this,(which I wouldn't have because it's a combo) I would have been disappointed in it. I did not like the smell of butter and it lingered for a couple days. Needless to say I don't use this in my daily showers. Just when I run out and don't have anything else to use. I did find a great smelling Caress body wash.
I cannot recommend this unless you really really love to smell like butter.
