Pros: Very Durable and Comfortable.
Cons: Very Hard skates to break in.
The Bottom Line: If your a beginner get a easier skate to brake in or else bake these skates first before you use them. This are meant for experienced hockey players.

| derekloge's Full Review: Bauer Supreme 5000 |
The Bauer Supreme 5000 skates are good quality skates. They are comfortable and very durable. These skates would last you for years, if your an adult. If your still growing I suggest getting one of the other Bauer Supreme skates. One other important detail about these skates are that they are hard to brake in. I would suggest going to a pro shop and getting them baked first. That should help in the braking in process. I would also suggest for only experienced hockey players of at least 3 or 4 years to get these. These skates are not meant for someone who is just getting used to skating or ice hockey. Otherwise get another pair of skates. I would suggest the Bauer Supreme 3000 skates or the 2000's.
Otherwise the are a quality pair of hockey skates. They will last you for years if just for skating or for playing ice hockey.
