Pros: good service, nice continental breakfast
Cons: no resturant, creepy elevator
The Bottom Line: It is best for business travel because of it's proximety to the airport and some businesses. However families traveling on a budget will like it too.

Things started off very well for me when before my trip I went to the Baymont Inn's website to see if they have shuttle service to and from the airport. I could not see that on the website, so I put in a request to have a customer service agent call me back. They did in under a minute and the friendly agent informed me that yes they do offer free airport shuttle service.
The day that I arrived at the airport in Nashville I went down to the baggage claim area. After I got my bag I called the hotel to have them come and pick me up. They said to go across the street to where the rental cars are, and there will be a phone where I can make a free call to them. So I did that, and in under 5 minutes they where there to get me.
As soon as I checked in, the desk agents where very welcoming with there bright smiles. I was there for a business conference, and was not sure how to get to the conference, so the agents were very helpful in giving me great directions. They also made sure I knew where my room was, where the fitness room was, and they told me about the free continental breakfast.
When I got to my room, I realized it was a nice standard room. It had to beds, and a nice clean bathroom. I also had a coffee pot with coffee or tea, an iron, and a hair dryer. Plus, the tv had all the major networks, and some major cable networks like CNN and MSNBC. Plus, on the tv you could order movies, reruns of famous tv shows, like Sienfeld, or Friends, or you could place an order to play video games like Super Mario. The maids did a very nice job cleaning the room, and giving an endless supply of soaps, shampoo, and towels.
However, what really won me over was what happened when I wanted to mail a letter to my girlfriend in Canada.
At the front desk of the Baymont Inn they sold stamps, but not enough to mail my letter to my girlfriend. I figured since it was late at night I would just run to the post office the next morning. To my surprise one of the desk agents said she would drive me to the all night post office so I could get my stamps and mail my letter. This shocked me because she (the desk agent) did not have to do that, but I really appreciated that.
I also really appreciated it when one night when I wanted to go into downtown Nashville, and I did not have a car, one of the agents helped me find a good cab company. As far as there continental breakfast goes, it was nice. They had bagels, toast, french toast, waffels and cereal. Along with orange juice, apple juice, milk of course, coffee and tea. I am a bit of a news freak, and I like to read the newspaper in the morning. So I liked having a free USATODAY each weekday morning. Finally, what made the difference with me for the Baymont Inn was the small things; the late night drives to the post office, helping me find a good taxi, and the warm friendly smiles. God bless them.
Before I forget I should also add the the hotel is only about a mile from the airport on Donelson Pike. It is near several resturuants such as Shoneys, Ruby Tuesdays, McDonalds and several others. Plus, it is only about a 10 minute ride from downtown Nashville.
