My mom got this product for my 18 month old daughter as a gift. She is addicted to the Disney show, Bear in the Big Blue House. We both figured that she would enjoy having a couple of toys from the show.
My mom found this in her Disney catalog for $40. Not the cheapest toy in the world, but... We thought it might be a little big for her to play with, but that she would grow into it and in the meantime, it would make a great room decoration. Well, NOTHING is too big for my baby! This child walks around hugging this enormous thing to her chest like it's the best thing made since sliced bread! The nose of the bear goes on her chin and his feet drag along with hers! I have taken footage of this with my camcorder because I don't want her to forget how much she adored this stuffed animal.
It's made very well, which is probably why it costs so much. Seems like the threading and fabric will last through a few more kids, if my daughter will share! Also, his nose and eyes aren't made out of those cheap buttons that seem to pop off every time you turn around, so there is very little chance of your little one choking on an eye.
I think this would make a great gift for any fan of Bear. He's very cuddly and kids seem to love him!
