My daughter is a huge fan of Bear in the Big Blue House, and it is one TV show I do not mind her watching occasionally. My husband purchased this plush toy at the Disney store in a mall on a whim. We generally are great bargain shoppers, and rarely pay full price, but he could not resist the delight he imagined our daughter would express upon seeing this toy. He was not disappointed. Her face literally lit up and she ran to give the Bear a huge hug and kiss. It has become her favorite toy, and she just loves to roll around with him on the floor. She was 12 months old when my husband first purchased the Bear, and five months later she still loves to drag it around the house and have it sit with her when we are reading.
My daughter really puts this toy through the paces, it has held up amazingly well. Considering it is also a favorite of our dog, who also loves to jump on it and often rolls around with my daughter and the Bear, I am amazed that it shows no stains. The other thing I like is that the fairly long fur does not come out or shed at all. Though it was not cheap, it was well worth the price as my daughter has had hours of fun and cuddling with the Bear.
