My seven month old received many gifts this Christmas but my first prize goes to Fisher Price for the Twirlin Whirlin Garden. It is unique and a garden of stimulation and fun.
Unlike many other toys this was very easy to assemble a few, "C" batteries and a click here and there and it was done. Although we found it easier to leave the play mat off, It doesn't seem to have much purpose, other than looks. Once assembled the entertainment begins.
The Twirlin Whirlin Garden comes with colorful blocks that can be stacked on four colorful spinning disks or a little teeter totter and a pair of dancing flowers. The blocks themselves were enough to keep my seven month old happy, they are colorful and a couple are even shaped like a bumble bee and a goldfish, when you add them to the twirlin garden with jazzy music and lights, your little one will light up with delight. Our son squealed with pleasure when the music began, and couldn't wait to see the stacked blocks tumble and twirl through the Fisher Price Garden.
As I said we have a seven month old and he quickly mastered pushing the blue button to start the twirlin and music, and he's a pro at knocking the blocks down, he can't yet stack the blocks but this will be a great toy to build motor skills and imagination. After having the toy for a week his interest has only grown he loves holding the blocks no matter where we are and whenever in the same room he always finds his way to the blue button to start the twirling again, they should include a note that this does become addictive to babies, he is a blue button addict when the music stops he pushes it again and again.
I give Fisher Price credit just when you think they can't possibly come up with a new unique toy, they always find something to capture our little ones attention and imagination.
