robinmichele's Full Review: William Cooper and Milton William Cooper - Behold ...
This is one book that you simply must see to believe. Or rather, see and not believe-- your call on that one, my friend. If you have a friend that really digs government conspiracies- boy oh boy this would make a great gift.
This book was written by William Cooper, an ex navy man who alleges that he is "spilling the beans" on the U.S. government and many of their secrets, all at great peril to himself. Apparently he was privy to all kinds of juicy information concerning our interplanetary treaties with the aliens, and many other things that George W. would prefer that we, the American Sheep, not know.
William Cooper has his own radio show and also does many public appearances to talk about his knowledge.
He lost a leg, and almost lost his life when he was chased down by Secret Governmental types.
The book is rather strange, in many many ways. I think my husband bought it because of the very cool cover art, and the snazzy title. (Hey, we're book people! What more justification do you need?) The cover is very colorful and has a figure on a horse with a skeleton mask, flanked by two dark horses, with a winged horse ascending into the sky.
Four stars for the cover art.
It's all about Content
This book is Cooper's way of alerting the public as to what wool is being pulled over our eyes. Government Conspiracy to the fifth power.
The book is arranged into 17 Chapters with an assortment of appendices following. For those who care, the chapters are as follows:
Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars
Secret Societies for the New World Order
Oath of Initiation of an Unidentified Secret Order
Secret Treaty of Verona
Good-by (sic)USA, hello New World Order
H.R. 4079 and FEMA
Anti-drug Act of 1988
Are the Sheep Ready to Shear?
Anatomy of an Alliance
Lessons from Lithuania
Coup de Grace
The Secret Government
Treason in High Places
A Proposed Constitutional Model for the Newstates of America
Protocols of the Elders of Zion
The Story of Jonathan May
Documentation: US Army Intelligence Connection with Satanic Church
Are you sensing a pattern here? Yep, I thought so. If these sort of topics interest you, by all means, run and get yourself a copy of this bad boy. If you are like me, you might want to pass this by.
Some of the more interesting tidbits I gleaned from this include the following "facts". The US government created AIDS in a lab, and then set off injecting it into promiscuous gay males in California. The US government has a treaty with the aliens which allows them to take a certain number of humans for study each year. They have to let the government know who they take, though.
The book goes into great detail about the "New World Order" and its connection with the Illuminati. Having seen Tomb Raider we should all be well aware that the Illuminati are bad news and are not to be trusted. But seriously, the book presents legislation as example that these folks have a different agenda in mind.
Commentary
Our friend Bill might have been a good soldier, but the man cannot write. He gets the job done, but most parts are dismally inadequate in so far as word selection etc. He could have been a lot clearer in many respects. The book gets difficult to follow in that it uses a lot of military jargon. There are many copied "documents" that often have little to do with the matter being discussed. At least as far as my eye can see.
As far as the validity of the content, I can only shrug my shoulders. While I agree that the government has some pretty shady secrets up their sleeves, I can't really go so far as to believe that they created AIDS. The alien thing really escapes me. I have never heard anything of Illuminati outside of fiction.
I can't not recommend this book, because the subject matter is inherently intriguing. Is William Cooper spilling the beans? Only the aliens know for sure.
