We recently bought some property in a remote location with an old house on it. The house has been remodeled, with new wiring for electricity and plumbing but there were lots of other things we needed to do to get it ready for moving in. One of the things that attracted us to the property was that it was in the country and very quiet! However, these kind of things also comes with other drawbacks. The internet was one of them. There is no dsl service or dial up internet. Wireless was out of the question because we don't have cell phone service here unless you are standing under the old old tree in the front yard. We ended up going with a satellite service for internet and used the Belkin G+ Wireless Router Model F5D9231-4 so we could also use our laptop computers throughout the house.

My Thoughts on the Belkin G+ Wireless Router Model F5D9231-4
This is the mid-range wireless router that Belkin puts out. We could have gone with the "G" model but it did not have all of the features that this model has. For about $20 more, we thought it would be best to upgrade to the G+ and have more capabilities with transferring pictures. That is the main difference other than speed from what I can tell. There is one router a step above this one that allows you to use a wireless phone, transfer large files, play online games with heavy graphics and stream movies.
We have been using this wireless router for about a month now and it has performed well in that time without any problems at all. The Belkin G+ Wireless Router Model F5D9231-4 serves our needs in allowing both my husband and I to be on our laptops at the same time. This makes for using my laptop convenient and also no fighting over the desktop or who will be online at a certain time.
You also don't have to worry about someine hacking into your computer. A security code is provided that you enter on each computer that is networked to lock out the bad guys.
Recommendation
I have found the Belkin G+ Wireless Router Model F5D9231-4 to be a wonderful thing of convenience. If you have multiple computer users or laptop users in your household, the Belkin G+ Wireless Router Model F5D9231-4 may be something to consider. I give the Belkin G+ Wireless Router Model F5D9231-4 5 Stars!
